Learning that becomes
part of your life.

Al Furqan Seminary brings Quran learning to the community at Masjid Yusuf, the Islamic Center of Richmond.

Our three programs offer distinct starting points: a foundation for children, memorization alongside school, or a dedicated full-time path.

One step at a time

A meaningful journey.
A lasting connection.

Learning the Quran begins with a first step. Reading with care, returning to what you have learned, and making time for study are all part of the journey.

Wherever you are beginning, explore a path through Maktab, Part-Time Hifz or Full-Time Hifz.

Three paths.
One lasting connection.

Choose the rhythm of learning that fits your family. Each program has its own focus, entry point and schedule.

What we appreciate most is the patience. Our son feels comfortable asking questions, and he comes home excited to share what he has learned.
